Objectives


To identify the digital literacy and coding education needs of individuals with autism.
To understand the views of families, educators, and autism professionals.
To provide a strong knowledge base for developing inclusive and practical educational materials.
This work package will help ensure that all training content is tailored to real needs, inclusive, and effective. It will also support the overall goal of increasing digital inclusion and employability for individuals with autism.

A review of literature and best practices in teaching digital skills to individuals with autism.
A summary of suitable educational resources and teaching methods.
A needs assessment report based on stakeholder surveys.
A final report with recommendations for inclusive digital education and coding curricula.

At least 100 resources reviewed.
Surveys answered by at least 100 stakeholders.
Minimum 20 teaching methods identified.
A final report of at least 10 pages with practical recommendations.

Partner Roles

All partners will contribute to the literature review and collection of resources.
Some partners will focus on teaching methods, while others will explore employability skills and digital tools.
All partners will help prepare and distribute the surveys, and analyse results.
UKIM, Xient, and AAP will lead the writing of the final report.

Cost-effectiveness

The budget of 25,040 EUR is well balanced for the research activities, surveys, and reporting tasks. This WP is essential for building a strong foundation and avoiding unnecessary work in the next stages. The investment will ensure that all project outputs are grounded in evidence and real needs.
